Adrienne Bailon is getting Rob Kardashian’s name removed from her body, the Cheetah Girls member said this week, six years after they broke up.
Following two previous failed attempts to rid herself of the ink baggage she’s carried for years, she’s getting the tattoo of the reality star lasered off.
“I haven’t been in a relationship with Rob for six years, and I’ve been with my current boyfriend, [Roc Nation’s Lenny S.], for five years,” Bailon said.
As a result, she says, “I think it’s time to remove it.”
One would think it’s been time for some time.
“It’s always been time,” she clarifies, “but there wasn’t a procedure that I was sure would not only remove it properly but also not leave me with a worse situation than I started with.”
The pre-fat Rob Kardashian dated Bailon from 2007-2009.
“I was genuinely in love and thought, ‘If he’s going to do this, I’m going to do this, too,'” she recalls, adding that they are still “super cool with each other.”
Still, “I’m so excited, you don’t understand.”
“The other day I ran across some pictures of myself in a bathing suit that had Brazilian high-cut bottoms, pre-Rob tattoo, and I couldn’t wait to wear those again.”
Sounds like she’s regretted this for years. Adrienne once called it the “ratchet-est booty tattoo” and said she didn’t know what she was thinking when she got it.
“It’s awful … I made a very bad decision.”
